J.W. Jones Student Union, Meeting Room D.

Sunday, October 1, 2017 @ 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Green Dot is a violence-prevention initiative focused on reducing violence that includes talking, sexual assault and partner violence. A green dot is any behavior, choice, word, or attitude that sends the message that violence is not okay. By doing green dots, we help set the norm that violence is unacceptable and everyone is expected tot do their part to keep out community safe.

It isn't always easy to know how to intervene when you see a potential red dot moment. By completing Green Dot bystander certification, you can learn what type of green dot works best for you depending on situation.
