Northwest Wind Symphony auditions

The Department of Fine and Performing Arts will have open auditions for participation in the Northwest Wind Symphony during the spring trimester. Auditions begin at 1:15 p.m., in the Olive DeLuce Fine Arts Building Room 241. A sign-up sheet will be posted outside Room 241, beginning Friday, Nov. 30.

Section openings include flute, oboe, B-flat clarinet, saxophone, horn, trombone, tuba and percussion. Individuals considering auditioning should prepare two brief contrasting excerpts of solo or etude material and be prepared to demonstrate knowledge of scales.
