DESCRIPTION:Northwest will host a free session for students and parents seeking assistance with completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The FAFSA is the first step all students must take to obtain financial assistance to attend college.\n\nThe Northwest event will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday in Colden Hall Room 1200. Personnel from Northwests student financial aid office will be on hand to answer questions and assist students and families with completing the FAFSA online.\n \nParticipants are asked to bring\n-2012 W-2 forms.\n-2012 tax forms if they are ready or any statements of interest earned in 2012 any 1099 forms and any other forms required to complete your taxes.\n-Student PIN and parent PIN. You may apply for your PINs at www.pin.ed.gov before attending a CGS event. \n\nIf you have not completed your taxes bring\n-Last year-end pay stub received in December 2012 by you and your parents showing year-to-date earnings. \n-2011 forms\n-2012 statements of interest earned\n\nFor information about the Northwest event contact the Office of Scholarships and Financial Assistance by calling 660.562.1363 or by email at finaidnwmissouri.edu.
