SUMMARY:Dog services clinic  obedience classes
DESCRIPTION:The Northwest Advocates for Animal Awareness NWAAA will offer K-9 basic obedience classes and other dog services including vaccinations and tags to all University students and employees from 530 to 630 p.m. at the University Police Building located on West Ninth Street with parking available east of the building in Lot 22. \n\nThe clinic with the Nodaway Veterinary Clinic and the New Nodaway Humane Society will offer services including rabies and other vaccinations 2013 city dog tags and micro-chipping. NWAAA members will be on hand to assist dog owners.  \n\nThe night also marks the beginning of obedience classes sponsored by NWAAA and Amy Mathias of Smitten Pet Sitten. The class offered in the University Police building begins at 630 p.m. Nov. 26 and runs three more nights Thursday Nov. 29 Monday Dec. 10 and Thursday Dec 13. Dogs will be tested and certified during the last session.  \n\nThe class is being offered first to pit bull owners and remaining openings will be offered to dog owners of other breeds. The course is free to dogs adopted from the local animal shelter.
