DESCRIPTION:Teams of Nodaway County residents will gather at Bearcat Stadium on the campus of Northwest Missouri State University from noon to midnight Saturday for full day of relaying against cancer. Games music and live entertainment will encourage people throughout the day and some teams will sponsor creative fundraisers at their camp sites during the event.\n\nThe event begins at noon. A cancer survivors and caregivers lap to celebrate those who have survived cancer are currently battling cancer or are caregivers to survivors will begin at 6 p.m. and the Luminaria Ceremony takes place at 9 p.m. to honor the Maryville communitys cancer survivors and remember those lost to the disease.
