DESCRIPTION:Horace Mann Laboratory School is hosting a free-will donation fundraiser dinner and auction to benefit one of its students who suffered a stroke.  \n\nThe pizza and salad dinner to benefit Lizzy Smith will begin at 630 p.m. Friday May 6 in the Horace Mann gym.\n\nOn March 14 Lizzy 11 suffered a stroke that affected one third of her brain. She is undergoing therapy at Childrens Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. \n\nHorace Mann invites people to donate desserts as well as goods and services for the charity auction. Volunteers also are needed to help set up and clean up. \n\nAll proceeds will go directly to the Smith family to help cover medical costs and other expenses. \n\nTo reserve a spot for the dinner make a donation provide assistance or receive more information contact Teresa McKee at 660.562.1449 or tmckeenwmissouri.edu.
