DESCRIPTION:The Department of Fine and Performing Arts will have open auditions for participation in the Northwest Wind Symphony during the spring trimester. Auditions begin at 115 p.m. in the Olive DeLuce Fine Arts Building Room 241. A sign-up sheet will be posted outside Room 241 beginning Friday Nov. 30.\n\nSection openings include flute oboe B-flat clarinet saxophone horn trombone tuba and percussion. Individuals considering auditioning should prepare two brief contrasting excerpts of solo or etude material and be prepared to demonstrate knowledge of scales.
