SUMMARY:Jazz Ensemble  Wind Symphony Holiday Concert
DESCRIPTION:The Northwest Jazz Ensemble and Wind Symphony will perform their annual holiday concert at 8 p.m. at the Ron Houston Center for the Performing Arts.\n\nDr. Kendall Prinz who joined the Northwest faculty this fall as professor of low brass and instrumental music education will be a featured performer on Rodney Newtons Capriccio for Tuba and Wind Ensemble.\n\nAdditionally the Northwest Low Brass Ensemble directed by Prinz will perform its own Low Brass Christmas as a prelude to the concert from 715 to 745 p.m.\n\nAll trombone euphonium and tuba players are welcome to join the ensemble. A brief informal rehearsal will begin at 630 p.m. in the Mary Linn Auditorium of the Ron Houston Center. Participants should bring a folding music stand wear festive attire and may decorate their instruments. Prinz will provide music at the rehearsal and may be reached at kprinznwmissouri.edu by individuals requesting advance copies before the rehearsal.\n\nThe concert is free and open to the public.
