DESCRIPTION:Award-winning pianist Megumi Masaki presents Music 4 Eyes  Ears a multimedia concert merging modern classical music with digital imagery projected on a wide screen at 8 p.m. in the Charles Johnson Theater.\n\nMasaki whose performances fuse artificial and real worlds through sound image and technology. has garnered critical acclaim in her native Canada as well as the United States Asia and Europe. Megumi has recorded CDs of her piano works and duo works for violin and piano with Oleg Pokhanovski. She made her film debut in Appassionata The Extraordinary Life and Works of Eckhardt-Gramatt for CBCs Opening Night. She also is the artistic director of the Eckhardt-Gramatt National Music Competition. \nMegumi records regularly for the CBC has received numerous awards from the Canada Council Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs Manitoba Arts Council and won the Willi-Daume Prize for her 2002 Winter Olympic multidisciplinary project Music and the Olympic Games. She is associate professor of piano at Brandon University in Manitoba Canada.
