Boyle  will give a lecture at 7 p.m. in the Ron Houston Center for the Performing Arts.\n\nBoyle is the author of 22 books of fiction including most recently When the Killings Done Wild Child and The Women. His work has been translated into more than two dozen languages and his stories have appeared in numerous major American magazines. Boyle has been the recipient of a number of literary awards including the PENFaulkner Prise for best novel of the year. He is a Distinguished Professor of English at the University of Southern California.
